WRESTLING 2023/24

Hello all Erwin families. My name is Curtis Chavez. I am the head wrestling coach this 2023/2024 school year. Your child has inquired about joining the wrestling team this season, and I wanted to pass some important information along.

This is a NO try out sport! Every player who wants to join the team will be allowed to do so regardless of gender (co-ed)

Practice attire shirt and shorts/ leggings etc. 

Important dates: first practice will be on Thursday January 4th. Practice starts at 4:15 and will conclude at 6:00pm. There will be NO BUS FOR THEM TO RIDE PARENTS/GUARDIAN MUST ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION!

School athletic signup required. Current athletic physical is also required.

We will have a parent meeting on January 11th at the conclusion of practice 6:00pm and should only take about 15 min. 

Wrestling shoes are required  

Wrestling headgear is required per CHASSA regulation.
